Jomana Heiba joined DisrupTech as an Investment Analyst, bringing with her 3+ years of experience in startup program management, fundraising, and investment.

Prior to joining DisrupTech, she served as a Program Manager at EdVentures VC, a subsidiary of Nahdet Misr Publishing Group, where she orchestrated successful fundraising initiatives, securing a multi-million-dollar fund crucial for the implementation and sustainability of the programs. In this role, Jomana led the development and execution of a lead management strategy, overseeing the scouting, screening, and evaluation of over 500 startups before guiding them through concurrent incubation and acceleration cycles.

Jomana previously pioneered the expansion of the "Leaps" event, a flagship gathering for early-stage entrepreneurs. Her leadership extended to providing mentorship sessions to startups in Egypt and Tunisia, offering tailored guidance to nurture their growth and success. Jomana's career is marked by accolades such as the 2022 Accelerator of the Year and the 2021 Incubator Excellence Award.

She also held the role of Incubation and Acceleration Program Coordinator at EdVentures VC, where she achieved notable results, with an impressive 67% of accelerated startups successfully attracting follow-on investments. Jomana also gained valuable experience during her work in the US, including a finance internship at Roberts & Ryan Investments Inc. in Wall Street, New York.

Jomana holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Finance and minoring in Economics from The American University in Cairo. For an academic semester abroad, she completed studies in Finance and Economics at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
