Habiba Ahmed joined DisrupTech Ventures as the Investor Comms and PR Manager, bringing over 7 years of experience in storytelling, public affairs and sustainability.

Prior to joining DisrupTech, Habiba served as the Communications, Public Affairs & Sustainability Manager at Talabat Egypt, part of the Delivery Hero Group. There, she led a dynamic team, increased SOV by 40%, spearheaded strategic B2G initiatives, and effectively managed Delivery Hero's delegation at COP27.

Earlier in her career, Habiba was a Public Policy Consultant at N Gage Consulting. During her tenure, she managed a diverse portfolio of over 12 tech clients operating in Egypt. Her expertise extended to successful lobbying efforts, particularly in shaping crucial regulations within the tech sector, such as the Personal Data Protection Law.

Driven by her commitment to youth development, Habiba worked as an Academic Associate at MUN Inc., a UN-endorsed edtech organization focused on promoting simulative learning.

Habiba's professional development includes acquiring certifications in Crisis Communications from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, Corporate Sustainability from Università Bocconi, and the Digital Marketing Challenger Track from Udacity.

She holds a B.A in Political Science with a specialization in International Relations, and an M.A in Gender and Women's Studies, with a specialization in Gendered Political Economies, from the American University in Cairo.
