Fouad Rakha is a VC professional with 8 years of experience in banking, private investment and portfolio management.

Prior to joining DisrupTech as Senior Investment Analyst, Fouad served as an Investment Associate in CVentures, the Corporate VC-arm wholly owned by the Commercial International Bank, where he performed market research, investment analysis, business assessment and company due diligence. Fouad has diverse experience in several sectors: including FinTech, HealthTech, and e-commerce.

Fouad held different roles during his 6-year tenor at the Commercial International Bank (CIB), namely in the Corporate Banking Group, performing Credit Analysis for large corporates operating in the Oil & Commodities sectors and in the Direct Investment Group where he was managing CIB’s VC portfolio.

Fouad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and International Trade with a concentration in Finance from Misr International University.
