Yehia Abouelwafa is Co-Founder & Partner at Disruptech. He is a seasoned investment professional, with 17+ years of different-stages investing experience. Yehia started his career in the corporate finance advisory, moved to M&A banking, then to private equity, and finally to Venture Capital. Prior to Disruptech, Yehia was the Chief Investment Officer at MNT-Halan Investments in the Netherlands.
Along his career, Yehia successfully closed numerous investments and fund-raising rounds on diverse geographies and industries. He is passionate about working with talented entrepreneurs to create companies around novel insights.
Yehia served on several companies’ boards and acts as an advisor to many start-ups. He was also a Graduate Teaching Fellow at Yale Department of Economics. He is an active member at Yale Entrepreneurial Society (YES) and Accelerate Yale.
Yehia holds a B.A. in Accounting & Finance from the American University in Cairo, and 2 Master Degrees, an M.B.A. and an M.A.M. from Yale School of Management and IE Business School.
